Virtual Inauguration of Infosys’ State-of-the-Art Software Development Block; Boost to Employment and Investment in the Technology Sector

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Indore, already known as the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh, is now moving towards becoming the technology capital of Central India. He stated that Indore represents a unique combination of passion, profession and potential. On Wednesday, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated the new campus of Infosys in Indore from the Chief Minister’s residence.
The Chief Minister said that Indore has world-class infrastructure along with a skilled workforce. He described the inauguration of Infosys’ state-of-the-art software development block as a significant achievement for the state.
New Employment Opportunities in the Technology Sector
The expanded Infosys campus in Indore has more than 5,000 seats and is designed to accommodate nearly 7,000 employees under a hybrid working model. Currently, more than 3,300 employees are working at the company.
The centre will focus on advanced fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud technology, cybersecurity and application development. The initiative is expected to generate direct and indirect employment while also supporting local businesses and service providers.
Promotion of Technology and Innovation in Madhya Pradesh
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a centre for technology, digital innovation and the knowledge-based economy. The state has implemented the Semiconductor Policy 2025. Along with IIT, IIM and IT parks in Indore, Ujjain is being developed as a Science City, while Bhopal is being developed as a Knowledge and AI City.
He congratulated and extended his best wishes to the Infosys officials for the development of the new campus.

Innovation Receives New Direction Through the Integration of Indian Knowledge Traditions and Modern Technology

Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH, Inder Singh Parmar, launched the ‘Sanatan Calendar AI’ and ‘Antar-Gita’ mobile applications developed by Jabalpur Engineering College. The programme was held on Wednesday in the minister’s chamber at the Mantralaya in Bhopal.
Minister Parmar said that the Indian knowledge tradition possesses a rich heritage of knowledge and science. He stated that taking this knowledge to the younger generation through modern technology is the need of the hour. The integration of tradition, knowledge and technology can serve as an effective medium to connect young people with their cultural heritage.
Panchang and Religious Information Through ‘Sanatan Calendar AI’
The ‘Sanatan Calendar AI’ application, developed by Jabalpur Engineering College, aims to provide information related to the Panchang, fasting days, festivals, worship rituals and religious knowledge in digital form. The objective of the initiative is to make Indian traditions and religious information easily accessible.
Taking the Teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to the Youth Through ‘Antar-Gita’
The ‘Antar-Gita’ mobile application seeks to deliver the practical teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to the younger generation through artificial intelligence-based technology. The initiative aims to make the Gita’s philosophy of life and message more accessible and interactive through digital platforms.
Minister Parmar congratulated the entire team of Jabalpur Engineering College for the innovative initiative. Principal Dr. Rajiv Chandak, Dean of Research and Development Dr. Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, Professor Dr. Saurabh Singh, student Abhay Bairagi and student Avisha Gupta, along with other team members, were present on the occasion.
