Special campaign from October 11–20, 2026, to help women establish e-commerce businesses, build their own online platforms and explore selling opportunities on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, AJIO and Myntra
Indore | SDNA
Women aspiring to become entrepreneurs could find new opportunities in the rapidly expanding digital marketplace, with LVGC announcing a special e-commerce initiative under its ‘Nari Shakti’ programme. Scheduled to run from October 11 to 20, 2026, the campaign aims to help women transform their skills, home-based products and business ideas into commercial ventures with access to online markets.
The initiative is designed to support women who wish to start their own businesses but face barriers such as limited capital, the cost of renting commercial premises, difficulties reaching customers and a lack of business-management experience. By encouraging digital entrepreneurship, LVGC seeks to help aspiring business owners explore ways to operate from home or an office and expand their reach beyond local markets.

From Home-Based Skills to Online Business Opportunities
A key feature of the programme is its focus on helping women establish their own e-commerce platforms and explore seller opportunities on established online marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, AJIO and Myntra.
Women involved in clothing, handicrafts, handmade products, suitable food items and other home-based industries may be able to use digital channels to reach a wider customer base, depending on product eligibility and platform requirements.
The initiative aims to go beyond simply creating an online storefront. Its broader objective is to encourage women to develop their own business identities, build customer relationships and work towards establishing sustainable enterprises.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, online selling can provide an alternative to traditional retail models. However, success will depend on product quality, pricing, market demand, logistics, customer service and effective digital promotion.
LVGC Announces 100-Day Investment Refund Assurance
Starting a business often involves uncertainty, particularly for first-time entrepreneurs who may be investing their savings. Addressing this concern, LVGC Chairperson Luniya has stated that women who are unable to launch their businesses within 100 days, or who decide to discontinue their ventures, will receive a full refund of their investment without deductions, subject to the programme’s stipulated conditions.
The assurance is intended to provide prospective participants with greater confidence as they consider joining the initiative.
However, women interested in the programme should seek written clarification regarding refund eligibility, the calculation of the 100-day period, applicable conditions, exclusions and the procedure for claiming a refund before making any payment. A written agreement and transparent terms will be important in ensuring that participants understand the commitment involved.
Target: 1,000 Women Entrepreneurs and 5,000 Small Businesses in Madhya Pradesh
According to LVGC Chairperson Luniya, the initiative aims to develop 1,000 women entrepreneurs across Madhya Pradesh. The organisation also plans to connect approximately 5,000 household-industry operators, small manufacturers and resellers as potential suppliers within the proposed business network.
The model is intended to create opportunities for both sides of the marketplace. Women entrepreneurs could use online channels to sell products, while small producers and local businesses could gain access to additional sales avenues.
If implemented effectively, the network could help connect local manufacturing with digital retail and encourage collaboration between women-led enterprises and smaller suppliers.
The practical outcome will depend on how successfully the participants are connected, how the supply chain is managed and whether the products can compete in terms of quality, price and customer demand.
Taking Women’s Empowerment Beyond Employment
Economic empowerment is not limited to providing jobs or financial assistance. It also involves enabling women to make independent financial decisions, generate income, manage businesses and participate more actively in the economy.
LVGC’s Nari Shakti initiative seeks to advance this objective by promoting entrepreneurship through digital commerce. For women with marketable skills or access to locally produced goods, online platforms may offer a route to explore self-employment and business ownership.
At the same time, starting an e-commerce business requires more than registering as a seller. Entrepreneurs need to understand platform policies, payment settlements, packaging, shipping, returns, customer complaints, taxation and applicable legal requirements. Access to training and ongoing technical guidance could therefore play a significant role in helping participants build viable businesses.
October 11–20: Special E-Commerce Entrepreneurship Campaign
LVGC has announced October 11–20, 2026, as the campaign period for encouraging women to explore digital business opportunities and take steps towards launching their enterprises.
The initiative’s central message is that products made at home can potentially find customers far beyond their immediate neighbourhood when supported by appropriate digital tools, sound business planning and consistent quality.
Under the theme “Self-Reliant India, Self-Reliant Women,” the Nari Shakti programme aims to bring women’s entrepreneurship, household industries and online commerce together within a common business framework.
The initiative sets out an ambitious vision: to help women move from business aspirations to independent enterprise ownership while creating additional market opportunities for small producers and suppliers.
Ultimately, its success will be measured not only by the number of women who enrol, but also by how many are able to establish functioning businesses, generate sustainable income and continue operating over the long term.
