October Heat Persists in Jodhpur; Temperatures May Touch 38°C

Bright sunshine and lingering humidity to keep daytime conditions uncomfortable, while fluctuating night temperatures offer only limited relief

(SDNA) Jodhpur: October may signal the transition towards winter, but residents of Jodhpur are still experiencing persistent summer-like conditions. With strong sunshine and humidity continuing through the day, the anticipated arrival of cooler weather appears to be some distance away. According to the weather forecast cited in the report, maximum temperatures in the city could climb to around 38°C between October 15 and 18.

Clear skies are expected to contribute to the continued daytime warmth, with little immediate indication of a significant drop in temperatures. The prevailing weather pattern suggests that Jodhpur could experience another spell of hot afternoons even as the season gradually moves towards winter.

While daytime conditions are likely to remain hot, temperatures after sunset may show some variation over the coming days. The minimum temperature is forecast to hover around 25°C on October 15 and 16, before potentially declining to approximately 23°C on October 17 and 18.

The anticipated dip could bring comparatively comfortable conditions during the late-night and early-morning hours, although it may not be enough to create a distinctly wintry atmosphere.

Winter Still a While Away

Despite occasional relief from relatively cooler night-time breezes, Jodhpur residents may have to wait longer for a noticeable change in the season. Strong sunlight and elevated daytime temperatures are expected to keep the heat firmly in place throughout the week.

The city is therefore likely to witness a contrast between hot afternoons and comparatively pleasant nights. Until temperatures begin to fall more consistently, summer-like conditions are expected to remain a defining feature of Jodhpur’s October weather.
