(SDNA) NIVRAH FOUNDATION Plans Charity Musical Concerts to Support Health Insurance for Economically Weaker Families

Nationwide cultural events scheduled to begin in December 2026; initiative aims to provide premium assistance for health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh for eligible beneficiaries

(SDNA) New Delhi: Medical emergencies can push financially vulnerable families into debt, force them to exhaust their savings and, in some cases, delay essential treatment because they cannot afford the cost. Seeking to address this challenge, NIVRAH FOUNDATION is planning a charity-based health insurance support initiative, combining music, cultural programmes and public participation to help economically disadvantaged individuals access financial protection against medical expenses.

According to the foundation’s founder, Dr. Vinayak Ashok Luniya, charity musical concerts and cultural programmes are proposed in several cities across India from December 2026. Funds raised through these events will be used to support health insurance premiums for eligible individuals who struggle to afford coverage independently.

The initiative aims to reach people who, because of financial hardship or eligibility restrictions, are unable to benefit from government-backed healthcare schemes, including Ayushman Bharat, or who otherwise lack adequate health insurance protection.

International and Indian Artists to Support the Initiative

The proposed programme will bring together performers from the music and cultural industries to encourage public participation in the charitable campaign.

The announced lineup includes international tabla artist and performer Ratna Aditya Narayan Banerjee, who is expected to lead the artistic team. Other artists named for the proposed programme include Bollywood playback singer Pranab Kumar Biswas, music composer Pandit Ramesh Narayan of Kerala, music director Kaustubh Sarkar Rana and sitar player Sandeep Banerjee, along with other performers.

Through these concerts, the foundation intends to combine musical entertainment and India’s rich artistic traditions with a wider social purpose: raising awareness and financial support for healthcare security among vulnerable families.

The organisers expect cultural engagement to provide a platform for mobilising donations and encouraging people to contribute towards a practical social welfare objective.

Target: Premium Assistance for Health Cover of Up to ₹5 Lakh

Dr. Luniya said that families with limited financial resources often face severe difficulties when a serious illness strikes. Treatment costs can consume household savings, create long-term debt and place additional pressure on already vulnerable families.

He explained that the foundation’s approach is intended to focus on financial protection before a medical emergency occurs, rather than relying exclusively on assistance after a family has already incurred substantial expenses.

Under the proposed initiative, eligible beneficiaries will receive financial assistance towards health insurance premiums, with the aim of helping them obtain policies offering coverage of up to ₹5 lakh, subject to the eligibility requirements, terms and availability of the relevant insurance products.

The level of assistance, premium amount and final coverage will depend on the insurance policy selected and the beneficiary’s eligibility. The initiative is intended to make insurance more accessible to people for whom purchasing private coverage would otherwise be financially difficult.

Bridging the Gap Between Medical Needs and Financial Resources

The foundation plans to identify individuals who are unable to access suitable government healthcare benefits and cannot comfortably afford private health insurance. Contributions collected through the proposed charity events will help fund premium support for selected beneficiaries.

Dr. Luniya emphasised that a person’s financial circumstances should not become an additional obstacle when they need medical treatment. The broader objective is to help families prepare for healthcare expenses and reduce the risk of falling into financial distress because of illness.

By focusing on insurance premium assistance, the initiative seeks to encourage a preventive approach to healthcare financing. Instead of waiting for a medical crisis to arise, eligible families would be supported in obtaining insurance protection in advance, subject to the applicable policy conditions.

The proposed programme also highlights the role that charitable organisations, artists and community participation can play in addressing social challenges that affect economically vulnerable sections of society.

Concerts to Combine Culture with Social Responsibility

NIVRAH FOUNDATION’s proposed campaign seeks to bring music, philanthropy and healthcare awareness together through a series of cultural events across India.

The programme is expected to begin in December 2026, with further announcements anticipated regarding participating cities, event dates, beneficiary selection procedures and the arrangements for health insurance premium assistance.

The effectiveness of the initiative will ultimately depend on the funds raised, the number of eligible beneficiaries supported and the insurance coverage successfully secured for them.

By linking cultural celebrations with healthcare support, NIVRAH FOUNDATION aims to turn public participation into a source of financial protection for families who need it most.

The initiative and its benefits are proposed plans announced by the organisers. Detailed schedules, beneficiary criteria and insurance arrangements are expected to be communicated separately.
