Work Underway to Develop Ujjain and Indore as Metropolitan Cities
Ujjain, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is continuously taking important steps to provide better employment opportunities to the youth of Madhya Pradesh. Through IT parks and engineering campuses, young people will get opportunities to pursue education along with employment, skill development and exposure to new technologies.
Describing the IT Park as an important project for the expansion of the IT sector in Ujjain, the Chief Minister said that it would create new employment opportunities for young people in the coming years. He said that various development works are underway with the objective of developing Indore and Ujjain as metropolitan cities. These initiatives aim to accelerate employment, quality education, technological innovation and industrial expansion.
The IT Park project is being constructed in two phases. Approximately 2.16 hectares of land has been earmarked for the project, with a proposed total built-up area of 15,480 square metres. Of this, 11,436 square metres has been reserved for IT companies. The Chief Minister instructed officials to complete all construction work within the stipulated time while maintaining the prescribed quality standards.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the under-construction PM Ekta Mall and Mahakal Bhakt Niwas on Indore Road and directed that both projects be completed at the earliest. He also inspected the Mahamrityunjay Gate.

Ujjain, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with a 16-member social media influencer delegation from Bihar at the VVIP Guest House on Dewas Road in Ujjain. The Chief Minister discussed topics related to Ujjain’s historical, religious and cultural heritage with the young influencers and provided information about various important sites and historical facts.
The Chief Minister briefed them about the under-construction Veer Bharat Museum, Snake Park and Mahakal Mahalok, as well as the development works being undertaken for Simhastha 2028. He said that the Veer Bharat Museum would showcase the glorious stories of great heroes from ancient times to modern India. It is planned to comprehensively present important events and the contributions of national heroes from the Vedic period, Ramayana and Mahabharata eras, the period of Vikramaditya and the freedom struggle.
Regarding the Snake Park, the Chief Minister said that a vision has been adopted to develop Ujjain as a “Snake Friend City.” The objective is to create public awareness about snake conservation, biodiversity and their role in maintaining environmental balance.
During their stay in Ujjain, the influencer delegation will observe preparations for Simhastha 2028, religious and tourist sites, and various development projects underway in the city.

Foundation Stone Laid for New Upashray Building at Shri Jain Shwetambar Temple
Ujjain, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that neither birth nor the departure from the physical body is within our control. Lord Mahavira showed humanity the path of renunciation, self-restraint, non-violence and compassion. Every individual should make the best contribution possible by performing good deeds during the time granted to them in life.
The Chief Minister participated in the foundation-laying ceremony of the new Upashray building of Shri Jain Shwetambar Murtipujak Tapagachh Shrisangh and Upashray Trust in the Madhavnagar area of Ujjain. He had darshan of Lord Shri Sheetalnath Swami and performed the prescribed worship and rituals before laying the foundation stone for the new building.
The Chief Minister said that the teachings of Lord Mahavira show humanity the path of renunciation, self-restraint, non-violence and compassion. Strengthening feelings of mutual love, harmony and cooperation in society is everyone’s responsibility.
Under the concept of “Three Dhams, One Destination,” the new Upashray building is also proposed to include an e-library along with a temple dedicated to Lord Manibhadra. The building will provide a convenient space for religious, spiritual and social activities.

Chief Minister Inspects Simhastha 2028 Development Works on Foot

Ujjain, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the development and construction works underway in Ujjain as part of preparations for Simhastha 2028. He reviewed the progress of road widening from Neelganga to KTM Gall India Square and the proposed new road from Shantinagar to Indore Road.
The Chief Minister directed officials to complete important works from the Simhastha perspective on priority and within the stipulated time. During the walk-through, he interacted with local residents. Citizens welcomed him with flower showers, and the Chief Minister also encouraged children by shaking hands with them.
The Chief Minister said that the citizens of Ujjain had voluntarily cooperated by moving back their houses, land and shops to facilitate road widening. He appreciated the cooperation extended by the residents.
He said that a large number of devotees would visit Ujjain during the Simhastha festival. Ensuring their convenience and proper arrangements is not only the responsibility of the government but also of every section of society.
Ujjain Emerging as a Major Religious Tourism Centre
The Chief Minister said that the number of devotees visiting Ujjain is continuously increasing. According to him, while approximately 6 to 7 million devotees used to visit annually earlier, around 80 million devotees visited last year. He said that this year the number of devotees is moving towards exceeding 120 million.
Extensive development works are being undertaken to expand roads, traffic facilities and other basic infrastructure.

Ujjain, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that several innovative steps are being taken to provide employment opportunities to young people in the state. Work is underway to provide employment opportunities alongside education to youth at IT parks and engineering campuses in Indore, Ujjain and other parts of the state.
The Chief Minister said that the development of the Indore-Bhopal Metropolitan City area would promote new technology and innovation and would also create new employment opportunities.
He said that all necessary development works related to Simhastha 2028 were also being completed at a rapid pace.

Additional Sources of Income Being Developed for Farmers through Animal Husbandry: Chief Minister
Addresses Balaram Agricultural Festival Virtually
Neemuch, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that additional sources of income for farmers in rural areas are being developed by promoting activities such as animal husbandry, dairy production, poultry farming and goat rearing.
The Chief Minister addressed the Balaram Agricultural Festival organised in Maihar from Neemuch through video conferencing. He said that special attention was being given to the empowerment of farmers through the Farmers’ Welfare Year initiative in the state.
Preparations Underway to Provide Farmers with 10 Hours of Electricity During the Day
The Chief Minister said that efforts are underway to provide farmers with 10 hours of electricity during the day for irrigation from the upcoming Rabi season. Expansion of the electricity system would provide farmers with greater convenience and security.
He said that the commencement of the Sleemanabad Tunnel would provide new momentum to water availability and agricultural activities in the region.
Preparations for Paddy Procurement
The Chief Minister said that necessary preparations were being completed on time so that farmers do not face difficulties in selling their produce. The government would procure paddy at the Minimum Support Price and efforts would also be made to ensure that farmers receive better prices for their produce.
Emphasis on Animal Husbandry Along with Farming
Emphasising the promotion of animal husbandry and dairy production alongside agriculture, the Chief Minister said that these activities play an important role in strengthening the rural economy.
Education and Employment for Youth
The Chief Minister said that efforts are being made to provide better education and modern facilities in government schools through Sandipani Schools. Increasing employment opportunities alongside education is also a priority of the government.
Promotion of Tourism and Food Processing in Maihar
The Chief Minister said that development works are being undertaken considering Maihar’s religious and tourism importance. Projects such as Maa Sharda Lok and Mukundpur White Tiger Safari are expected to promote tourism. He said that work would also be undertaken in the coming period toward establishing a food processing park in Maihar.
Exhibitions were organised by various departments during the programme to provide farmers with information about agriculture, animal husbandry, financial literacy and various government schemes. Progressive farmers and meritorious students were honoured with certificates.

Says More Than 350,000 Government Recruitments Planned in Coming Years
Neemuch, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that efforts would soon be undertaken to establish an airport in Neemuch. A well-equipped stadium would also be constructed to expand sports facilities.
At the felicitation programme of the “Seva Se Sankalp” campaign held at Agrawal Bhawan, the Chief Minister said that more than 100,000 recruitments had been made in the state during the past two and a half years and that more than 350,000 recruitments were planned during the next two and a half years.
The Chief Minister said that the “Seva Se Sankalp” campaign was being conducted across the state from September 17 to October 17. Under the campaign, activities related to service, public participation and public welfare are being organised in various districts.
He described the “Ashirwad Ka Diya” programme as an initiative connected with the Sanatan tradition and India’s cultural heritage.
Government Focus on Budget and Employment
According to the Chief Minister, the state’s education budget had increased from approximately ₹5,000 crore to ₹38,000 crore, while the state’s total budget had reached ₹4.48 lakh crore. He also provided information that the state’s per-capita income had exceeded ₹170,000 and that electricity generation had crossed 32,000 MW.
The Chief Minister said that in 2002 there were approximately five medical colleges in the state, whereas currently 33 medical colleges are operational, offering around 8,000 seats.
Cheetah Project Described as Important
The Chief Minister said that a female cheetah was being released in the Khimla area of Neemuch under the Cheetah Project. He described it as an important achievement for the district and highlighted efforts being made in the areas of wildlife and environmental conservation.
Citizens who performed outstanding work under the Seva Se Sankalp campaign were honoured with certificates at the programme.
Female Cheetah ‘Radha’ Released in Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary
Number of Cheetahs in the Sanctuary Rises to Four
Neemuch/Mandsaur, September 20. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released a female cheetah in the Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary. On the occasion of Radha Ashtami, the female cheetah was named “Radha.”
The Chief Minister said that the Cheetah Project was progressing in the direction of wildlife conservation. Following the arrival of female cheetah Radha, the number of cheetahs in the Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary has increased to four. Earlier, the sanctuary was home to two male cheetahs, Prabhas and Pavak, and one female cheetah, Dheera.
The Chief Minister said that Gandhi Sagar was being developed as the second major habitat for cheetahs. The Forest Department team would continuously monitor the health, behaviour and adaptation of the cheetahs to their new environment.
He said that cheetah conservation in Gandhi Sagar could promote wildlife tourism while also creating new employment and livelihood opportunities at the local level.
On the occasion, the booklet “Second Home of Cheetah—Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary”, published by the Forest Department, was also released.

Jabalpur, September 20. The weekly organic market was organised again this Sunday at the Agricultural Produce Market in Jabalpur by the Department of Farmers’ Welfare and Agricultural Development in collaboration with the district administration. Farmers practising organic farming made various products available for sale.
A large number of citizens visited the market to purchase chemical-free and healthy food products. Bargi MLA Shri Neeraj Singh also visited the organic market, interacted with farmers and learned about their products.
The market offered various organic fruits and vegetables, including lemons, pointed gourd, bananas and papayas, along with grains, maize and milk-based products. Millet flour, cookies, pickles and other value-added products were also available for sale.
Agricultural officials interacted with farmers and consumers and provided information about the importance and health benefits of natural farming. Purchases by citizens helped farmers obtain better prices for their products.
