Target to establish offices in more than 700 districts and connect over 10,000 workers within one year
Mumbai: The grand swearing-in ceremony of the Marwari-Gujarati Social Council, established with the objective of promoting the social, national-interest and political development of the Marwari and Gujarati communities and resolving issues faced by members of the community, was held in Mumbai. During the ceremony, the newly appointed office-bearers and members of the Board of Directors took an oath to play an active role in serving the community and the nation.
Under the guidance of National President Dr. Ajit Bagmar and the leadership of Council President Sampatlal Jain, 25 active and dedicated members took the oath of office and social responsibility. Senior office-bearers and social workers from various fields congratulated the newly appointed president, office-bearers and directors.
On the occasion, National President Dr. Ajit Bagmar said that the objective of the Marwari-Gujarati Social Council is not merely to expand the organization but to provide people from the community across the country with a strong social platform. He said the council would continuously work to effectively raise social, administrative and public-interest issues before the concerned authorities and platforms and seek solutions to them.
Dr. Bagmar said that the council has set a target of establishing offices in more than 700 districts across the country within the next one year. Along with this, a comprehensive plan is being implemented to connect more than 10,000 active workers with the organization across the country. He said that through a strong organizational network, the community would be united and its participation in nation-building would be made more effective.
He also informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis would be invited to the council’s upcoming annual convention. He said the convention would serve as an important platform for extensive discussions on community unity, social development and various issues related to national interest.
The ceremony was attended by President Sampatlal Jain, former president Rakesh Nahar, Vice Presidents Kirti Ajmera, Prashant Javeri, Bharat Garg, Shailesh Modi and Kushal Jain, Chief Secretary Kiran Mehta, Joint Secretaries Divya Jain, Sangeeta Jain, Manju Vaishnavi, Uttam Sanghvi and Rajesh Parikh, Treasurer Mangal Handseth, along with several office-bearers and social leaders.
Newly appointed President Sampatlal Jain said that the council would move forward by taking every section of the community along and would strengthen the organization at the grassroots level. He appealed to all directors and workers to actively participate in social service, public welfare and nation-building initiatives.
During the ceremony, the social leadership present congratulated President Sampatlal Jain and all the newly appointed office-bearers and members of the Board of Directors. They expressed confidence that the Marwari-Gujarati Social Council would establish itself as an influential social platform across the country in the coming years.
The council also stated that, along with organizational expansion in Mumbai, efforts would be accelerated to establish branches in Maharashtra and other states across the country. The ceremony conveyed a strong message of community unity, organizational expansion and collective participation in the national interest.
