Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, September 23 (SDNA): India added another medal to its Asian Games campaign on Wednesday as Parinaz Dhaliwal, Maheshwari Chauhan and Olympian Raiza Dhillon combined effectively to win the bronze medal in the women’s skeet team event.
The Indian trio produced a consistent performance during the competition, finishing among the medal-winning teams in the event. Parinaz Dhaliwal and Raiza Dhillon each recorded 111 hits out of 125 shots, while Maheshwari Chauhan registered 109 hits.
Their combined scores were enough to secure India a place on the podium in the women’s skeet team competition, providing a strong start to the fourth day of the 2026 Asian Games for the Indian contingent.
The performance also highlighted the consistency of India’s shooters, with all three members of the team contributing significantly to the medal-winning effort.
The bronze medal adds to India’s medal tally at the Games and strengthens the country’s showing in shooting events at the Asian Games.
