Firozabad, September 24, 2026 (SDNA): A video showing a Scorpio driver allegedly speeding through a toll plaza without paying the required fee has surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention online. The incident reportedly took place at a toll plaza in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the video and claims accompanying it, the vehicle approaches the toll barrier at speed instead of stopping. It then hits and breaks through the barrier before continuing forward. The footage appears to have been recorded from inside the vehicle and was subsequently shared on social media.
Video Draws Attention on Social Media
The clip was shared on X by user Lakshya Mehta, who claimed that the Scorpio driver did not stop at the Firozabad toll plaza and drove through the barrier without making the payment.
The post also criticised the decision to record and share the incident online, arguing that avoiding a relatively small toll payment resulted in damage to the vehicle and toll infrastructure.
The claims made in the social media post could not independently establish all details of the incident from the video alone.
Firozabad Police Take Notice
As the video began circulating online, the Firozabad Police reportedly responded through social media.
Police stated that the Inspector in charge of Traffic had been directed to take necessary legal action in the matter.

The incident has also become a subject of online humour. Educationalist Amit Kilhor commented that the driver appeared to have tried to save the toll amount but potentially ended up facing a much larger expense after the vehicle’s windshield was damaged.
The figure of around ₹6,500 for a windshield has been cited in social media reactions, although the actual repair cost would depend on the vehicle’s model, parts and service provider.
Several users also pointed out the apparent irony of risking damage to an expensive vehicle to avoid paying a comparatively small toll charge.
