Digital platforms to be used for public awareness

Organisers said platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X and WhatsApp, along with digital news portals, have become important channels for public communication in today’s digital environment.

The proposed meeting will focus on how these platforms can be used constructively to highlight activities related to cow service, protection and community awareness.

The organisers intend to bring together people with experience in digital communication and content creation to discuss practical strategies for expanding the campaign’s online presence.

Journalists, creators and digital volunteers invited

The organisers have invited social-media professionals, young men and women, journalists, reporters, television representatives, YouTubers, video producers, reels and short-video creators, graphic designers and digital-media volunteers to participate.

People interested in contributing their digital skills to cow-service initiatives have also been invited to attend.

The meeting is expected to provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas on creating informative content and presenting local service initiatives through digital channels.

Focus on videos, reels and local stories

Discussions during the programme will include strategies for creating awareness-oriented videos and reels, increasing the reach of campaign messages, documenting local cow-service activities and presenting community initiatives to a wider audience.

The organisers will also discuss possible coordination with journalists, television channels and digital media organisations to strengthen public communication.

Another focus will be on encouraging local volunteers to use photography, video production, graphic design, content writing and social-media management to document and communicate community activities.

Turning digital skills into social service

According to the campaign team, social media should not be viewed only as a platform for entertainment but can also be used for constructive public-awareness initiatives.

The organisers said individuals with skills in social media management, journalism, video editing, graphic design, photography, content writing and digital outreach can contribute by using their expertise for community-oriented activities.

The broader objective of the meeting is to connect digital communication with grassroots initiatives and take the campaign’s message to more people through online platforms.

The Pune Go Samman Aahwan Campaign team has appealed to interested volunteers, digital creators, journalists and supporters to participate in the meeting and contribute their skills to the initiative.
