
Goodwill programme in Sanwer on October 2 to focus on eliminating untouchability and strengthening social harmony
Indore, September 30, 2026. A social harmony and goodwill camp aimed at promoting equality and addressing the practice of untouchability will be organised in Sanwer Janpad Panchayat of Indore district on October 2, marking Gandhi Jayanti.
The programme is being organised by the Tribal Affairs Department as part of efforts to promote social harmony, mutual respect and equal participation within the community.
The camp will bring together public representatives, prominent citizens and residents from surrounding rural areas, providing a platform for dialogue on social equality and harmonious community relations.
