Registration window open till October 17; free facilities available at panchayat and cooperative centres, while private kiosks can charge up to ₹50

Indore, September 30, 2026. Farmers across Madhya Pradesh growing soybean during Kharif 2026 will be able to register for procurement under the Price Deficiency Payment Scheme (Bhavantar Yojana) from October 3 to October 17, 2026, according to the state authorities.

Registration will be carried out through the e-Uparjan portal, with arrangements being made at designated registration centres across the districts.

Free registration facilities

Farmers can register free of cost at facilitation centres established at Gram Panchayats, Janpad Panchayats and Tehsil offices.

Registration facilities will also be available through centres operated by cooperative societies and cooperative marketing institutions.

Paid registration capped at ₹50

Farmers can alternatively use MP Online kiosks, Common Service Centre kiosks, Lok Seva Kendras and privately operated cyber cafés for registration.

The maximum permissible charge for one registration has been fixed at ₹50.

Registration centres will be required to verify and maintain records of the farmer’s land-related documents, Aadhaar card and other photo identification documents.

For sharecroppers (Sikmi/Bataidar), Kotwars and forest-patta holders, registration will be available only through centres operated by cooperative societies and cooperative marketing institutions. The Revenue Department will undertake verification of all farmers belonging to these categories.

Aadhaar-linked bank account preferred for payment

Payments for the crop sold by farmers will be made primarily to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.

If payment through the Aadhaar-linked account cannot be processed for any reason, the amount may be transferred to the bank account provided by the farmer during registration.

Farmers will therefore need to provide their bank account number and IFSC code while registering.

Inactive accounts and joint accounts will not be accepted. Accounts associated with Fino, Airtel and Paytm will also not be valid for registration under the stated payment arrangement.

Farmers have been advised to keep their Aadhaar, bank account and mobile number properly linked and updated to avoid difficulties during the registration and payment process.

Facilities for Aadhaar and biometric updates

District collectors have been instructed to ensure that Aadhaar registration and updating centres at district and tehsil levels remain operational.

Farmers can use these facilities to update their mobile numbers and biometric information. Aadhaar service centres operating through post offices may also be used for the purpose.

Authorities have also been asked to coordinate with banks for linking farmers’ bank accounts with Aadhaar.

As part of the verification process, the Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation will initiate a ₹1 transaction through the e-Uparjan/JIT portal during registration to verify the Aadhaar-linked bank account.

Aadhaar verification mandatory

Aadhaar verification will be compulsory both for registration and crop sale.

Farmers can complete the verification using an OTP sent to the mobile number linked with Aadhaar or through a biometric device.

Registration will normally be completed only when the name recorded in the farmer’s land records matches the name on the Aadhaar card.

In case of a discrepancy, the registration will be referred to the Tehsil office for verification. The registration will become valid only after the required verification is completed.

Farmers to receive registration alerts

Farmers whose mobile numbers were available during the previous Kharif registration process will be informed through SMS.

Local administrations will also publicise the registration schedule through village announcements, information boards at Gram Panchayats and banners at cooperative societies and mandi-level locations.

Officials have been instructed to ensure that all registration-related procedures are completed within the prescribed deadline so that soybean farmers can participate in the procurement process without avoidable difficulties.
