In the senior boys category, Kanha Badoli won silver. In the sub-junior traditional category, Adya Vyas claimed gold, while Tamanna Yadav secured bronze.
Strong Show in Rhythmic and Artistic Yoga
The institute continued its winning run in rhythmic and artistic yoga events. In senior rhythmic yoga, the pair of Pranjal Sankhla and Soumya Chouksey won gold.
Shreya Sharma produced a remarkable double-gold performance in the junior girls category, winning gold in both the traditional and artistic events.
In sub-junior artistic yoga, Adya Vyas and Navda Rathore secured gold as a pair, while Navda Rathore also won silver in the artistic singles event.
Anjali Ore added another gold in the senior ‘A’ category, while Anurag Singh Chauhan secured bronze in the junior boys category.
AI-Based Analysis Added a New Dimension to Training
According to Alka Rathore, who accompanied the players as manager, the athletes have been training under the guidance of yoga mentor Dr. Milind Tripathi using modern training techniques.
An interesting aspect of their preparation was the use of AI-based technology to analyse yoga postures and identify technical shortcomings. Live video analysis was used to assess movements and help athletes correct errors. AI-supported analysis was also utilised while determining the most suitable competition categories for individual players.
The athletes reportedly underwent nearly five hours of rigorous training every day while following a structured diet plan. Consistent practice, technical analysis, category selection and nutritional discipline collectively contributed to their strong performance at the district championship.
National-Level Players Supported the Preparation
The athletes also received technical and competition-related guidance from Ujjain’s national-level yoga players, including Parineeta Sharma, Shubham Sharma, Keshavi Purohit, Anjali Ore and Arpita Anjana.
