Bhopal, September 24, 2026 (SDNA): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Chandrashekhar as the new State General Secretary (Organisation) for Madhya Pradesh, ending an around eight-month vacancy in the post. The appointment was part of a wider organisational reshuffle announced by BJP national president Nitin Nabin on September 24. Chandrashekhar will be based in Bhopal. The organisation general secretary plays a key coordination role within a state unit, working across the party's organisational structure and maintaining coordination between different levels of the organisation.
